Let me tell you why I think family sessions are such a great idea! Children grow up so fast and change so much, especially in those early years. What better way to capture those changes, special moments and relive the memories than with a photo session each year? Or document the final few months before your baby makes its way into this world and changes you forever?
One thing I love doing is going back and looking through all the old photos of me playing with my siblings and cousins, or searching for old photos of my husband to see how cute he was even back then. I love remembering the terrible outfits that are now way out of fashion and special memories each photo holds that I may have forgotten without them. Let's not forget all those terrible stages of life that bring a good laugh today.
My mom did such a great job of capturing us as we were growing up but very rarely was she in front of the camera with us. I know one day those photos with her in them are going to be even more special because they are less frequent.
What better gift to give your kids and family down the line than quality photos of you and them together that capture your love and relationship while making a lasting memory together.
