This past week kicked off my Fall Mini Sessions and it was such a great start to the season. We were originally going to do Jenn’s session on one of the rainy days this past weekend but when I saw that Wednesday was going to be nice and sunny we moved it up a few days to take advantage. I am very thankful that Jenn is so laid back and had no problem switching the days since Wednesday ended up being a perfect sunny evening to be outside.
When Jenn heard I was doing mini sessions she said she wanted to get some updated photos of herself and her pup, Layla, since Layla was getting older. After telling me she wanted to take some photos she asked me if that was weird. The answer to that is always “Of course not!”
It’s so fun to get out every once in a while, get dressed up, do your hair and make-up and get some updated shots of yourself. Whether it’s for social media, your job, to send out a holiday card or just to give to family as a gift, it’s all a good reason in my opinion. Photo shoots are such great gifts to give to a family member or a spouse so why not treat yourself and have one done of just you?!
