Last Friday I had the pleasure of spending part of my Valentine’s day with the Morrison family and it was evident there was so much love for this sweet new baby boy. John was just about three weeks old and had grandparents in town visiting to love on him, as well as his parents, and his pup, Ryder, to oversee everything.
Ben and Mary Kate waited until John was born to find out if he was going to be a boy or a girl and so the nursery is decorated with simple neutral colors that would be a perfect fit for either a boy or a girl. I loved the overall feel of white and natural wood in the nursery with pops of color in the rug and wall of baby books to brighten it up. The natural wood tones give the room such a fresh and clean feel, making it the perfect place for a newborn to enjoy.
Grandma Kim and Grandpa Pete were visiting from Chicago. Baby John is named after his Grandpa Pete.
